Positive test on amniotic fluid! As per my labor & delivery with ds, no real contractions yet. Unless things change, I'll likely be on the pitocin train (blaaaaaah) but baby should be here tonight or tomorrow!

4cm and 80% effaced. -3 position and baby is currently face up (grrrr -- I'm hoping s/he flips when my contractions actually start). Small dose of pitocin coming up in 2 hours so dh just ran out to get me a cheese burger! My BP is high so they are testing me for pre-e but think it's likely just pregnancy induced high bp.

Had to get the steriod shot for the baby's lungs. My bum hurts lol. But I'm eating my cheeseburger and having contractions every 5-6 minutes. So fx no pitocin (ill find out in about an hour or so).

My daughter was face up until the very end. I didn't think she would flip but they say babies usually do. Good luck! |
